Project Description:
Dredge approximately 6,000 cubic yards of sediment from about 60,000 square feet of Chautauqua Lake at the mouth of Crescent Creek.  About 3 feet (depth) of material will be removed and stockpiled at the Village Department of Public Works yard to be used as fill on village projects at a later date.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency:
None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
A Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form has been completed. The proposed activity will not impact on registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment:
Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Jun 2 2006.

Project Description:
The applicant has purchased the site of this 4.85 acre sand and gravel mine from the former owner and requests reissuance of the permit which expired on May 10, 2003, in order to resume mining operations in accordance with the previously approved plans. The mine is located  about 1,200 feet north of Clear Creek Corners, on the west side of U.S. Route 62.

Project is not subject to SEQR because it is a Type II action.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
