Erie County - The NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Special Events Programming and Infrastructure at Knox Farm State Park will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. Special events are planned for Knox Farm State Park on a periodic basis. Special Events may include meetings, conferences and social events. The focus of the special events will be in the area of the Estate House. The events will require use of the estate house and grounds, temporary placement of facilities such as tents and port-o-johns, and the construction of a parking area and walkway. The estimated size of the parking areas is approximately 113 vehicles. There have been a limited number of special events hosted at the Estate House in 2004. Examples of these events are an art show and weddings. The special events provide for enhanced use of the park facilities and financial support for the maintenance and care of the historic estate house and grounds. The project is located within Knox Farm State Park, Town of Aurora, Erie County.

Erie County - The East Aurora Union Free School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Acquisition of and Alterations to 300 Gleed Avenue, East Aurora, New York for Use as an Educational Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the acquisition of the building and land located at 300 Gleed Avenue, East Aurora, New York by the East Aurora Union Free School District for use as an educational facility. The action involves site work, additions and alterations to the existing building and the acquisition of the land.

Erie County - The Town Of Amherst Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a 153,000 gross sq. ft. addition to the front of the existing hospital building, realignment of the existing parking and entry drives in front of the hospital and construction of a new parking lot on the east side of the entry drive. The subject property is located on the north side of Maple Road, 507 feet west of St. Gregory Court. The hospital expansion entails the addition of a new surgical ward and expanded Emergency Room. The existing front parking area and associated drives will be demolished and reconstructed to allow for a new drop off loop at the entrance to the hospital as well as new parking spaces. The new parking lot to the east of the entry drive will provide additional parking spaces. The petitioner is Kaleida Health, 901 Washington Street, Buffalo, New York. The project is located at 1540 Maple Road, Amherst.

The action involves the rezoning of 10.4 acres of land from Suburban-Agriculture (SA) to Office Building (OB) in order to expand the recently approved Sweet Home Commons office park to be located at 2360-2370 Sweet Home Road. The proposed office park expansion would include single story office buildings totaling 60,000 97,000 sq. ft. for professional and medical office space. The rezoned portion of the property will not have frontage on North Ellicott Creek Road. The petitioner is North Forest Development, Suite 12, 8201 Main Street, Williamsville, NY 14221. Niagara County - The Town of Wheatfield, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Quigliano rezoning will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a rezoning of a portion of a parcel of land from C-1 (commercial use) to M-1 (industrial use), and its development for use as an office for an excavating business, with associated equipment and materials storage. There are no plans to change uses or zoning on the remainder of the parcel. The project is located at 2395 Lockport Road in the Town of Wheatfield, NY.
