Wyoming County - The Town Board of the Town of Java, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Zoning Text Amendments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of amendments to the Town Zoning Ordinance. The amendments will: 1) Amend Schedule 1 to add Lot Road Frontage requirement for single family non-farm dwellings; 2) Delete definition of "Lot Frontage" and add definition of "Lot Road Frontage"; 3) Remove Section 1115 - Satellite TV Dishes or Antennae; 4) Add sentence to end of Section 1204 - Other Requirements - requiring an accessory manufactured dwelling occupied by an employee to be owned by the owner of the premises.

Erie County - The Town of Boston, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Creekfield Subdivision. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on May 17, 2006 at 6:30 pm. at the Boston Town Hall, 8500 Boston State Road, Boston, NY. Public comment period ends May 31, 2006. The action involves development of a 27.7-acre property to accommodate the construction of a subdivision consisting of 26 single-family residential homes, including associated roadway, drainage structures and public utilities (sanitary sewers, water, electric, natural gas, etc.). The project will require approval to re-zone approximately 24.4 acres of property from R-A (Residential-Agriculture District) to R-1 (Single- Family Residence District). The project is located (west of) Boston State Road (C.R. 227) at the intersection of Omphalius Road, Town of Boston, NY.
