Project Description: The action involves A Three-lot subdivision of a 23.38± acre vacant parcel of land which is located on both sides of Lake Edward Road and includes more than 1600+ feet of shoreline on Lake Edward. The 3 proposed lots are described as follows: Lot 1, a 12.76± acre lot, primarily located on the NW side of Lake Edward Road, and includes a narrow strip of approximately 300+ feet of shoreline on the SE side of the road; Lot 2, a 7.44± acre lot located SW of the road with approximately 800+ feet of shoreline on Lake Edward; and Lot 3 a 3.18± acre lot with approximately 500+ feet of shoreline. The construction of one single family dwelling with on-site wastewater treatment system is proposed on each lot.

Saratoga County - The Town of Ballston Town Council, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Town of Ballston Comprehensive Plan, Zoning and Subdivision Update. A public hearing on the Draft Generic EIS will be held on April 25, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Ballston Town Hall, 323 Charlton Road, Ballston Spa, NY. The public comment period ends May 10, 2006. The action involves the preparation of a GEIS for the purposes of reviewing the potential impacts of the proposed Comprehensive Plan along with the proposed zoning and subdivision amendments.
