The applicant proposes to replace an existing collapsed well.  The proposed irrigation well will be drilled to a depth of 160 feet and have a capacity of 800 gallons per minute. The site is located on Cooper St., Shoreham, Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County.

The applicant proposes to upgrade the existing Huntington Sewer District Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility.  Upgrades include but are not limited to construction of two sequential batch reactor tanks, control and equipment buildings; demolition of the existing rotating biological contactor building and screen pump equipment.  The two existing secondary clarifier tanks will be converted to pre-equalization tanks and the two trickling filter tanks will be converted to sludge holding tanks.  To facilitate the upgrades it will be necessary to dewater at a rate of up to 3.05 gallons per day.  The proposal is located on Creek Road, 350 feet west of Route 110 in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County.    

The applicant proposes to construct a parking lot, install a catch basin and associated leaching pools in the adjacent area of state regulated freshwater wetland # SO-1. The proposed location of the leaching pools will be within 73 feet of the delineated boundary of the freshwater wetland. The proposed location of the parking lot will be within 50 feet of the wetland boundary, and ground disturbance is proposed within 19 feet of that boundary. The regulated activity is in association with the construction of a 1-story bank and 2-story office building. Both buildings, as well as other appurtenant structures not previously mentioned are outside the jurisdiction of Article 24 (NYSDEC freshwater wetland regulations) of the Environmental Conservation Law.
