The applicant has purchased
the site of this 81.3 acre sand and gravel mine from the
former owner/operator, and requests reissuance of the permit which expired on May 26,
2003, in order to resume mining operations in accordance with the previously approved
plans. The approved plans included material processing by a portable dry-screen,
portable crusher and portable wash plant, each with a maximum capacity less than 150
tons per hour, and reclamation to a condition suitable for agriculture. Realignment of
Tributary 2 of Sucker Pond was also authorized.
