The Town of Clifton Park
is proposing to construct a skateboard park. Work will include
grading, paving, fencing, lighting, drainage facilities and installation of the modular and
in-place skateboard equipment. Grading will provide a base for approximately 8900
square feet of asphalt paved riding surface. The construction contract includes an add
alternate for replacing the asphalt surface with a concrete paved surface. The paved
surface will be sloped to facilitate sheet flow toward the west. In addition, a drywell
constructed within a depressed area near the northeastern corner of the property will
collect and dispose of storm water that drains toward the site from the north. All work
proposed is in the 100 foot buffer area of New York State regulated Freshwater Wetland
N-5.
The project is located in
the parking lot at the Clifton Park Center Mall, near Boscov's
parking lot, in the town of Clifton Park, Saratoga County.

The applicant has proposed
the development of a sand and gravel mine of 16 Life-of-Mine acres at the east portion of their +/-
220-acre contiguous parcel which is located on
the west side of State Route 40, ~1.3 miles north of the County Route 54 intersection.
The mine will operate as a traditional surface extraction of sand and gravel by means of
mechanical excavation by wheel loader or equivalent. Material will be processed by a
portable screening plant, or loaded onto awaiting trucks and hauled from the site.

Regional Sub-Office in Warrensburg.
