As part of an Adironack Park Agency directed wetland mitigation project, the applicant proposes to enhance a previously channelized tributary of Raquette Pond/Tupper Lake. The easterly bank of a 500 foot section of the channel will be excavated, widened by up to 60 feet, reconfigured, sculpted and planted to create diversity in terms of depth, width, structure, substrate, and vegetation.  Existing culverts will be replaced and  reoriented. Banks will be stabilized and restored with a variety of native grasses and shrubs.  The project will (when other local plans are developed) improve stream hydraulics, recreation opportunities, aesthetics, and fish and wildlife habitat.

The project is located on the old railroad bed, north of Pleasant Avenue, in the town of Tupper Lake, Franklin County.

The applicant proposes to install a 6 foot wide by 215 foot long dock with 14 - 6 feet wide by 20 foot long fingers. This floating docking facility will accommodate a total of 28 boats in conjunction with the proposed Lakeside Condominiums project.  Dock will be secured seasonally to six 6 foot diameter concrete anchors that will be permanently placed in the Great Sacandaga Lake.

The project is located on the west shore of the Great Sacandaga Lake on County Road 152, in  the town of Northampton, Fulton County.

The applicant has proposed to develop a 12-lot subdivision on an 86.7-acre contiguous parcel containing a portion of regulated NYS DEC Freshwater Wetland M-8 (Class II). The proposal has been minimized to result in no wetland impact. For vehicular safety requirements, a small section of wetland adjacent area will be impacted by the establishment of the subdivision entrance. The site is located on Middle Grove Road between Hyspot and King Roads. Application materials are available for public comment at the NYS DEC Regional Sub-Office in Warrensburg.

Proposed construction of a boat and RV storage facility in the adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland Q-21 (class I).  Two storage buildings, a gravel driveway, and stormwater management basin would disturb approximately 0.90 acres of wetland adjacent area.  No disturbance to the actual wetland is proposed.  The project is located on the east side of NYS Route 9P, 0.3 mile south of the Route 9P bridge over Fish Creek, Town of Saratoga.

The Department has made a tentative determination to approve a new State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit pursuant to Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law for an existing discharge of a maximum of 400,000 gallons per day of treated groundwater and stormwater to the Glens Falls Feeder Canal, a Class C waterbody.  The discharge originates as stormwater and groundwater inflow to the Jointa Galusha LLC Lime Quarry located at 209 Warren Street in the Town of Glens Falls. This tentative determination indicates that the regulated discharge satisfies the regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on current information available to the Department. The application and draft SPDES permit (NY-0265489) can be reviewed by making an appointment with the contact person identified in this notice.

The applicant proposes to develop a 32-lot single-family residential subdivision in the vicinity of regulated NYS DEC Freshwater Wetland GF-27 (Class III). The proposal will result in the unavoidable loss of approximately 0.099-acre of wetland, which will be mitigated by the creation of 0.62-acre of new wetland. The project is located approximately 1.25 mi. east of West Mountain Road. Application materials are available for public review and comment at the NYS DEC Regional Sub-Office in Warrensburg.
