The applicant proposes to
operate a 8.5 acre Life of Mine, sand and gravel mine on a
181.4 acre parcel of land removing approximately 410,000 tons of material over the life
of the mining operation. The operation will also include the use of a portable dry
screener. The mining operation is anticipated to generate an average of four (4) and a
maximum of nine (9) truck trips per day. The site is located on the west side of Verbeck
Avenue, approximately 3/4 mile north of the Rensselaer County Route 125 intersection.
