Chautauqua County - The Town of Chautauqua, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Chautauqua Lake Local Waterfront Revitalization Program will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves approximately 42 miles of shoreline along Chautauqua Lake in nine communities. The CLLWRP will build upon the Chautauqua Lake and Watershed Feasibility Program. The primary coastal issues to be addressed by the CLLWRP have been identified as development of a regional approach to issues facing the entire lake, including but not limited to public access, preservation of views and aesthetics, and preservation of open space. The project is located within Designated Waterfront Revitalization Area boundaries within the Towns of Chautauqua, Ellery, Ellicott, Busti and North Harmony and the Villages of Mayville, Bemus Point, Celoron and Lakewood.
