The applicant proposes to
renew a permit to mine 182.0 acres of sand and gravel from a
213.4 acre parcel. Also included is the addition of 9.2 acres, determined to be within the
existing mine area through implementation of improved survey procedures. The new,
more accurately measured life of mine will be 191.2 acres. No expansion beyond the
present mine area is proposed at this time. The site is located 1,000' north of Cole Road,
2100' westerly of State Route 26, approximately 1.5 miles northwesterly of the Village of
West Carthage.
