Little Sand Point Campground Shower Building Project

The purpose of this posting is to update the Final Unit Management Plan/Environmental Impact Statement for the Piseco Lake Campgrounds; in particular, Little Sand Point Campground Objective G, Shower Facilities (Years 2 and 4) Exhibit 20.

Exhibit 20 is the Tree Removal Tally which was conducted in 1992. At that time, the Tree Tally consisted of 42 trees that were over 3 inches DBH. An updated Tree Tally was conducted in February 2006 to include 126 trees over 3 inches DBH. The trees are a mixed hardwood variety to include ash, maple, birch, and beech. The building area remains in the exact foot print of the approved 1994 UMP. The updated Tree Tally is as follows:

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Saratoga County - The Schuylerville Central School District Board of Education, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Schuylerville Central School District Campus Expansion. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on March 9, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at the Schuylerville Central School District Office, 14 Spring Street, Schuylerville, NY. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until March 23, 2006. The action involves the Board considering improvements to the existing school facilities located on 14 Spring Street in the Village of Schuylerville, the Town of Saratoga and the Town of Northumberland. The improvements include the following:
