Positive Declaration

Monroe County - The City Of Rochester Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Residential Care Facility may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves establishment of a residential care facility for six (6) persons in a single family dwelling. The project is located at 55 Briggs Street.

Ontario County - The Planning Board of the Town of Victor, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Fairways may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the subdivision of approximately 180 acres into 162 town home unites and a 9 hole short range golf course with a club house. The project is located on High Street and Gillis Road in the Town of Victor, NY.

Steuben County - The Steuben County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Clipper Windpower Paragon Project may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves Cliffper Windpower Development Company, Inc. proposing to construct a 100 MW Wind Farm, including 40 wind turbines, with associated access roads, a 34.5 kV power collection system and an interconnection with an existing 230 kV electric transmission line. Ancillary facilities will also include an Operations and Maintenance facility and a new substation at the point of transmission interconnection. Each wind turbine will be placed within a 155' radius circle which will remain cleared. Each tower would be approximately 80 m in height and each turbine blade would be approximately 45-50 m long. The project is located in the Town of Hornby, NY and the Town of Orange, NY.
