Schenectady County - The Town of Rotterdam, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed McClane Food Service Distribution Food Center may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on January 31, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the South Schenectady Fire Hall, 6 Old Mariaville Road, Rotterdam, NY. The action involves the construction of a 250,000sf food service distribution center and associated truck maintenance facility, plus associated parking, utilities and landscaping. The project is located at the intersection of Becker Road and Rte. 7. The project site is located in the Town of Rotterdam and Princetown, Schenectady County.

Otsego County - The Planning Board of the Town of Milford, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Pleasant Meadow Park may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on January 25, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Milford Town Hall. The action involves a special use permit modular home park for transient rental. The project involves a parcel of land encompassing 11.53 acres of which 5.61 acres will be disturbed. There will be 11 two bedroom units and 12 three bedroom units. The modular home park will be used for short-term rentals. The project is located on Oxbow Road, Town of Milford, NY.

Rensselaer County - The New York State Department Of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed John and Mary Weir proposed Sand and Gravel Mine (DEC ID# 4-3842-00089/00001). The action involves the applicants, John and Mary Weir proposing to mine sand and gravel from a 32.7 acre life of mine area on a 156 acre parcel of land in the Town of Schaghticoke to be operated in three (3) phases over an estimated period of 10 + years. The project is located on the south side of NYS Route 67, approximately one mile west of the intersection of NYS Route 67 and NYS Route 40 in the Town of Schaghticoke.
