The applicant proposes to
develop and operate a 28 acre surface sand and gravel mine on
a 54 acre parcel owned by the applicant. The site is located south of County Route 79,
approximately 2,000' west of the hamlet of Rural Hill, and 4 miles south of the Village of
Henderson. Material will be used for animal bedding on the applicant's dairy farm
operation. On-site processing may take place using a portable screen.
