Erie County - The Town of Evans Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lake Shore Family Medicine Rezoning will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rezoning of 15.3 acres of a 26.3 acre parcel from Residential-1 (R-1) to General Business (GB) for the purpose of constructing a 13,400 square foot multi-tenant building, as well as 3 future buildings. The project is located on vacant land on Erie Road (a.k.a. NYS Route 5) located at the northwest corner of Delamater Rd., a.k.a. part of SBL# 206.00-3-39.11.

The action involves rezoning of 22 acres of vacent I-1 property to B-1 property. The project is located on Milestrip Road in Orchard Park, NY.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Cattaraugus County - The Town of Allegany Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed University Commons. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, 7:00 p.m. at the Allegany Senior Center, 3790 Birch Run Road, Allegany, New York. Public comment period ends February, 13, 2006. The action involves a new approximately 211,000 square foot mixed use development, which will contain retail, restaurant, and office land uses. The proposed land uses would be located in 6 buildings located throughout the approximately 20 acre parcel. The focal point of the development would be a cluster of four two-story buildings in the center of the site, designed in a town center configuration. 1044 parking spaces are proposed. Two on-site storm water detention basins are proposed. The proposed project is primarily located on the site of a former motel, restaurant, and cinema. The project requires a rezoning and abandonment of a portion of a Town right-of-way (Castle Drive) by the Town Board, variances for the size of parking spaces and setbacks from the Zoning Board of Appeals, and Special Use Permit and Site Plan Review and approval from the Planning Board. The project is located on west State Street (NYS Route 417), Town of Allegany, Cattaraugus County, NY. The site is across from St. Bonaventure University, near the intersection of Route 417 and Constitution Avenue.
