The applicant proposes to
add 6.05 acres to the existing 3.45 acre sand and gravel mine. It
is also proposed to add a portable crusher that has a maximum rated capacity of 50 tons
per hour (the mine is currently approved for a portable dry-screen of similar capacity).
The reclamation objective is meadow for wildlife habitat. The mine site is southeast of
Laidlaw Road (Cattaraugus County Route 80) about 1 mile northeast from its intersection
with Pigeon hill Road.
