The Department has received
an application for the construction of three stormwater
management facilities including stone access drives and outlet structures, partially within
NYSDEC adjacent area as part of a 155 lot subdivision located on Route 31F in the Town
of Perinton. This project also involves construction of approximately 445 linear feet of
sanitary sewer with stone access drive within NYSDEC adjacent area in one location and
approximately 105 linear feet of sanitary sewer in another location, installation of
approximately 80 linear feet of 48 inch corrugated plastic pipe culvert under the proposed
main access road and installation of the outlet pipe for Stormwater Management Pond C
into a class B tributary of Irondequoit Creek. The Department has made a tentative
decision to approve this application. As a tentative determination, the Department is
seeking public comments prior to making a final decision on permit issuance.

proposes to install stone riprap and rock vanes in Sucker Brook
at four locations within the City of Canandaigua. Approximately 500 linear feet of
stream bank will be disturbed. The project will reduce stream bank erosion and sediment
transport to Canandaigua Lake while also providing protection to structures and
driveways adjacent to the channel. The work in Sucker Brook will be situated within
densely developed areas near Parrish Street, Bristol Street, Chapin Street and West
Avenue.

As part of the Fishers Landing
Plaza Expansion on Route 96 in the Town of Victor, the
applicant proposes to expand, and reconstruct an existing storm water facility within the
previously disturbed wetland adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland FA-2. Additional
work within the adjacent area includes parking and road construction, landscaping and
utility installation. Although never completed, most of the proposed work was permitted
under expired DEC Permit 8-3248-00034/00002. The applicant also proposes to remove
fill and debris, from past unauthorized filling activities, for appropriate disposal. The
total area of wetland adjacent area impact will be 2.18 acres.

at the Lake Corners-Rose Valley Road. The modification would allow for the extraction of
approximately 98,000 c.y. of sand and gravel from a 4.1 ac. area previously disturbed by topsoil
removal. Mining operations on the remainder of the 239 ac. Life-of-Mine area will remain
unchanged. Excavation will be by mechanical equipment, standard for sand and gravel mining
operations. No washing or other use of ground or surface waters are proposed for this operation.
Final reclamation will restore the 4.1 ac. modification area to a ponded wildlife area.
