Project Description: The project sponsor proposes the drawdown of Forest Lake. The purpose for this project is to control the spread of aquatic vegetation in order to enhance recreational opportunities in the lake.


Negative Declaration

Saratoga County - The Saratoga Springs Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hampton Inn and Suites will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a mixed-use project on 2.13 acres. The project includes a 124 room hotel on one structure, a second two-story 3,200 square foot commercial building, and a third building with 15,700 square of commercial/business office space, up to 57 residential units with 79,000 square feet and up to 234 parking spaces. The project also involves a subdivision and site plan review approval from the Planning Board and historic review approval from the Design Review Commission. The project is located at 38 High Rock Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY.

Saratoga County - The Saratoga Springs Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Franklin Square Phase V will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new 242,000 square foot mixed-use project consisting of up to 28 residential units (56,600 square feet), business and professional offices (56,600 square feet), retail (8,350 square feet) and 110 parking spaces. The project also involves site plan review approval from the Planning Board and architectural review approval from the Design Refiew Commission. The project is located at 18 Division Street, Saratoga Springs, NY.
