Consolidated SPDES Renewals
FOR THE DISPOSAL OF THE TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN’S SOLID WASTE STREAM EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 2009.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Brookhaven Department of Waste Management is soliciting comments on a Draft Request for Proposals (“DRFP”) for the disposal of the Town’s solid waste stream effective September 2009.
In conformance with Section 120-w of the New York State General Municipal Law (“GML”), the Town will accept comments on this DRFP for a minimum period of 60 days, which will end on March 10th, 2006. Upon reviewing all comments received to the DRFP, the Town may elect to issue a Final Request for Proposals.
As provided by Section 120-w of the GML, the DRFP is on file with the Town Clerk of the Town of Brookhaven, One Independence Hill, Farmingville, New York 11738.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all persons wishing to comment on the DRFP must submit such comments in writing by regular mail to the Town of Brookhaven Department of Waste Management at the above address and such comments must be received by the Town by 4:30 p.m. on March 10th, 2006.

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Jackson's Marina - Slip Expansion may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves application for the addition of 173 boat slips for a total of 369 boat slips and 260 additional parking spaces, dredging, and bulkhead tidal wetland areas on a 5.043 acre parcel improved with an existing marina (196 slips) and accessory structures, located in the RWB Zoning District and the NYS Archeological overlay district. The project is located west of Teepee Street and across from Mohawk Road in the hamlet of Hampton Bays, (SCTM No. 900-230-1-28, 31 & 32.1)
