The applicant proposes to
construct a retail shopping center near the intersection of Poags
Hole Road and Route 36. This construction will impact approximately 1.05 acres of
federal wetlands. To compensate for this impact, 2.46 acres of mixed scrub-shrub/emergent wetland
will be created on site. Additionally, there will also be 2 acres of
mitigation completed off site. The Department has made a tentative determination to
issue the water quality certification and as such is seeking public comments before
making a final decision on issuance. Project documents are available for review at this

The Department has received
an application to extend the water supply and distribution
system of the District into its Rausler Road extension and to take for use therein a supply
of water estimated to average 12,000 gallons per day from the City of Canandaigua's
Canandaigua Lake source via the Canandaigua-Farmington Water District. This project
includes the installation of 2,800 linear feet of 8 inch water main and appurtenances. A
portion of the water main is proposed to be installed in the regulated 100 foot adjacent
area of NYS regulated freshwater wetland MA-31. The Department has made a tentative
determination to approve to this application. As a tentative determination, the
Department is seeking public comments prior to making a final decision on permit
issuance.

mining operation. Materials will be not be mined from below the water table. On-site
processing will include screening at a rate not to exceed 150 tons per hour. The area has
been previously used for mining by Schuyler County. The reclamation objective for this
