Project Title: Majestic Log Home Builders Inc.
Location: Mountain Meadow Way; located 3000± feet west of the intersection of New York State Route 9N and County Route 12(Springfield Road) in Upper Jay New York.

Project Description: The project is the subdivision of 31.7 acres into seven lots thereby creating six new building lots ranging in size from 2.74 acres to 8.36 acres (lots 1-6), a 5.71 acre lot (lot 7) to be used for access to the building lots. Lot 7 is proposed to be conveyed to the Town of Jay once the road to be constructed on it meets Town of Jay Highway standards. One new single family dwelling is proposed for lots 1 - 6 with municipal water supply and on-site wastewater treatment systems. The Agency has jurisdiction over the portions of Lots 5, 6, and 7 which are in a Resource Management land use area.
Albany - Saratoga Counties - The Green Island Power Authority, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Cohoes Falls Project. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on December 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Green Island Municipal Center, Green Island, NY. Public comment period ends January 13, 2005. The project involves a new dam & hydroelectric powerhouse project, replacing the existing dam & powerhouse at School Street (FERC No. 2539). Included are: more efficient hydraulic design; complete fisheries protection; underground powerhouse and transmission lines; a one-mile rewatered stretch of the Mohawk River, including Cohoes Falls.
