Negative Declaration

Nassau County - The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Shared-Resource wireless Communications Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the State’s agent, Crown Communication New York, Inc., proposing to construct a communications facility, to consist of the installation of a 100-foot multi-user, multi-purpose structure, 20-foot by 50-foot concrete slab supported equipment shelter, 30-inch tall landscape wall with plantings, and 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk providing site access from the existing adjacent parking area servicing the Valley Stream State Park. The facility is designed as a flagpole that will be situated at the entrance into the Valley Stream State Park from the Southern State Parkway. Communications antennas will be fully mounted inside the flagpole so as to be concealed from view. The Facility will appear as a flagpole typically found at public areas. Moreover, the design of the equipment shelter and landscape wall also incorporates a stone facade that matches the stone appearances of the bridges and underpasses of the Southern State Parkway. The project is located in Valley Stream State Park, Town of Hempstead, NY.

Nassau County - The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Upper Brookville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Update of Municipal Master Plan – Village of Upper Brookville will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Master Plan update includes analysis of further evolution of the Village of Upper Brookville over the past twenty-plus years, an update of regional perspectives and regional mater plans, a Village-wide land use update, and inventory of the Village physical environment, local population trends, current development trends within the Village, and a direction of how the Village can ensure the residents that the character of the Village would remain for the future through a statement of objectives that relate to the natural and man-made development. The project is located in the Incorporated Village of Upper Brookville, Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County, New York.

Suffolk County - The Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Invesco Affiliates Ltd. will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the demolition of an existing 53-unit motel and the construction of 53 residential units and 4,200 square feet of office space with associated site improvements. The project is located in in the Central Commercial C-1 District on 3.7 acres on the south side of West Broadway (SR 25A) approximately 65 feet west of Barnum Avenue in the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson, Suffolk County, New York.

Positive Declaration

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Incorporated Village of Lloyd Harbor, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Application for Preliminary Subdivision Approval, “Map of Riele Woods” may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a proposed subdivision of an approximately 33.92-acre property into seven residential lots. Access to the subdivision is proposed from Spring Bay Lane and Watch Way. The subdivision is proposed to be served by on-site sanitary systems and public water. The project is located on the north Side of Watch Way, West Side of Spring Bay Lane, Incorporated Village of Lloyd Harbor. (Suffolk County Tax Map Nos. Suffolk County - The Inc. Village of Lloyd Harbor Board of Zoning Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Application of Prescott Ammarell may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a variance to allow the construction of a section of a dock to be constructed as a 54= fixed pier in lieu of floats, with a length of 99 feet rather than the maximum permitted 75 feet and extended a distance 20 feet seaward of the point where mean low water depth is 2 feet, located within Coastal Overlay District - 1 and a Critical Environmental Area of the Village. The project is located at 16 Heather Lane, Incorporated Village of Lloyd Harbor, Huntington, Suffolk County, New York. Section 11, Block 01, Lot 58 in Tax Map District 0403 on the Real Property Tax Map of Suffolk County.
