Negative Declaration

Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Lisle, as lead agency, has determined that the Town’s proposed application to lease a 19.6 acre portion of a parcel of land (said portion hereinafter referred to as "Mine Area") owned by Lynn G. Bennett and Ruth M. Bennett, consisting of approximately 181 acres in size at NYS Route 79 and Clute Hill Road, Town of Lisle will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Town which will use the Mine Area for the purpose of creating a Town gravel pit, parking and storing Town machinery and equipment, storing minerals, washing and processing minerals, mining, and removing minerals from the Mine Area pursuant to the DEC mine permit to be applied for by the Town. The lease term, if the contingencies set forth in the proposed Lease Agreement are met, shall be for 10 years with an option to renew.

Tompkins County - The Town of Ithaca Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rite Aid Pharmacy/Judd Falls Plaza Redevelopment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves Site Plan Approval and Special Permit for the proposed Rite Aid which is Phase I of the redevelopment of the Judd Falls Plaza properties located at 322-350 Pine Tree Road and 930 and 946 Mitchell Street, Town of Ithaca Tax Parcel No.’s 62-1-3.2, 62-1-2.2, and 62-1-1, Community Commercial Zone. The site includes the existing Ides Bowling facility and several retail businesses in the building, as well as two old houses, one fronting on Mitchell Street, the other well off of Mitchell Street next to the cemetery. The proposal includes removing the existing plaza and houses to ultimately construct approximately 45,464 square feet of retail, office and other related commercial uses in several new buildings, including a +/- 14,564 square foot Rite Aid Pharmacy store in the first phase of development. The project will also include new stormwater facilities, parking, landscaping, and lighting. Susan Hamilton is the current owner; Ellicott Development Company for 1093 Group, LLC, is the applicant. The project is located at 322-350 Pine Tree Road and 930 and 946 Mitchell Street, Town of Ithaca, NY.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft Generic EIS And Public Hearing

Onondaga County - The Village of Liverpool, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Preparation and Adoption of a Comprehensive Plan for the Village of Liverpool, NY. A public hearing on the Draft Generic EIS will be held on November 28, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 310 Sycamore Street, Liverpool, NY. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until December 9, 2005. The action involves a Comprehensive Plan and Generic Environmental Impact Statement for the Village of Liverpool. The draft Comprehensive Plan includes information about the Village and future land use recommendations. The Plan addresses excessive traffic in the Village, pedestrian safety, economic development, and many other issues facing the Village over the next 20 years.
