Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Land Transfer Map of Ash Grove Farm LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves land transfer of 373,828 sq. ft. (8.58 acres) from Lot #1 (Ash Grove Farm, LLC) to Lot #2 (Maple White, LLC), which are currently (prior to the transfer of land) 650,747 sq. ft. (14.939 acres) and 80,0009 sq. ft. (1.837 acres), respectively, and after the transfer, Lot #1 and Lot #2 would be 6.357 acres and 10.419 acres, respectively, on two parcels, each containing a pre-existing dwelling, totaling 16.776 acres. The project is located in the Town's Aquifer Protection Overlay District and Agricultural Overlay District, situated in the CR-80 Zoning District, located at 152 and 156 Little Noyack Path, in the Hamlet of Water Mill.

Suffolk County - The Board of Education of the Westhampton Beach Union Free School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Field and Parking Improvements to the Westhampton Beach Elementary School and the Adjoining Hite Property will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Board of Education of the Westhampton Beach Union Free School District considering improvements at the Westhampton Beach Elementary School and the adjoining Hite property, including removal of the three existing structures at the Hite property; redevelopment of the existing athletic fields at the Hite property; reconstruction of the basketball courts, and construction of a new softball field and a new soccer field at the Hite property; construction of a fire access driveway at the Elementary School property; construction of a new, 154-space parking area on the north side of the Elementary School and Hite properties, to replace three existing parking areas. Overall parking on-site would increase from 138 to 181 spaces; relocation of the playground on the Elementary School property; and redevelopment of the athletic fields on the southernmost portion of the Elementary School property. The project is located at the Westhampton Beach Elementary School and adjoining Hite Property, South side of Mill Road, Hamlet of Westhampton Beach, Town of Southampton.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Suffolk County - The Town of Brookhaven Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Silver Corporate Park Rezone/Subdivision Application, Yaphank. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on November 15, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. in the Brookhaven Town Auditorium, 2nd Floor located at One Independence Hill, Farmingville. Comment period ends at close of business on November 25, 2005. The action involves a proposed change of zone and subdivision application. The project is located at One Independence Hill, Farmingville, NY.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft Generic EIS And Public Hearing

Suffolk County - The Town of Brookhaven Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Middle Country Road Land Use Plan, Town of Brookhaven. A public hearing on the Draft Generic EIS will be held on November 15, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. in the Brookhaven Town Auditorium 2nd floor located at One Independence Hill, Farmingville, NY 11738. Public comment period ends on the close of business November 25, 2005. The action involves three amendments to the Town Code including (Transition Corridor Overlay District, Hamlet Center Overlay District, and Heavy Commercial Overlay District). Additionally, 34 parcels are under consideration for rezoning ultimately resulting in changes to the Towns Zoning Map.
