This fact sheet describes
the modifications to the permit. The permit was modified in the
following ways:
Permit pages -
Updated permit pages
are used, based on current Department guidance, format and
nomenclature.
Permit pages are renumbered
and reordered.
The address for the Bureau
of Watershed Compliance on the Recording, Reporting and
Monitoring page have been updated.
A new Monitoring Locations
page has been added to the permit.
New Best Management Practices
requirements have been added to the permit.
Permit Limits, Levels
and Monitoring -
Removed Parameters-
The limits and sampling requirements for lead have been
removed from the permit besed upon a determination that this removal poses no threat to
receiving water quality.
Added Parameters-
Limits and sampling requirements for MTBE, napthalene,
ethylbenzene and settleable solids have been added to the permit.
BTX - The action levels
and sampling requirements for benzene, toluene and xylene in
combination have been removed from the permit. New individual limits and sampling
requirements for benzene, toluene and xylene have been added to the permit. The
facility’s system currently may not be able to meet the new limits. A schedule of
compliance has been added to the permit to address the current systems deficiencies.
Interim limits have been added to the permit and will be in effect until the permittee can
identify and construct the facilities necessary to meet the new limits. The schedule of
compliance shall be completed no later than 11/1/2008.
Outfall 002 -
According to the permittee NY-2A application, outfall 002 no longer exists.
All limits, sampling requirements and references for outfall 002 have been removed from
the permit.
