Project Description:
The applicant proposes to skim two gravel bars (50 foot long and 135 foot long) within Cold Spring Brook and place heavy stone rip rap along 75 feet of eroded streambank in order to protect agricultural fields from flood damage.  The project is located on the east side of State Route 8 south of Barbourville.

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to grade approximately 400 feet of each side of the streambank along Tributary 94 of the West Branch of the Delaware River.  The project will facilitate mowing of an area that will be fenced to exclude livestock from entering under the Watershed Agricultural Program.  The project is located on the southeast side of State Route 10, just north of the village of Hobart.
