Albany County - The Town of Colonie Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Colonie Center Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a 100,000 sq. ft. expansion to an existing regional shopping center. The project is located at 15 Wolf Road in the Town of Colonie, Albany County.

Positive Declaration And Public Scoping

Greene County - The Village of Coxsackie, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hamlet on Hudson Residential Golf Community may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The project site consists of approximately 587 acres on seven contiguous parcels identified as Greene County tax map parcels 71.00-4-3.1, 71.00-2-1, 71.00-4-6.2, 71.00-3-15.2, 88.00-1-4.211, and 88.00-1-5.11. The project will include the development of 556 townhouses and villa style housing units ranging in size from 1,800 to 2,600 (+/-) square feet; an 18-hole golf course; a 85,000 (+/-) square foot clubhouse with amenities; a 7,500 (+/-) square foot grounds maintenance building; a guard booth at the main entrance gate; and two weather/beverage stations located along the golf course. The clubhouse will contain a 400-seat banquet room, a restaurant, a fitness center, executive offices, an indoor swimming pool, and one outdoor aquatic park. The development will also include construction of approximately 28,200 (+/-) linear feet of roadway and associated infrastructure. The project will be serviced by municipal water supply and an on-site wastewater treatment plant. Treated wastewater will be discharged into on-site ponds for re-use in the golf course irrigation system. During the off-season, and during periods of frequent rainfall, the irrigation ponds will ultimately flow into the existing unclassified stream that traverses the project site and discharges into a Class C stream that flows under Adams Road. This Class C stream eventually flows into Sleepy Hollow Lake, a Class A surface water which is the raw water source for the Sleepy Hollow Lake development.
