Ontario County – The West Bloomfield Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Tower Lake Estates will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a subdivision of approximately 75 acres into 15 residential lots, consisting of a proposed road and water main extension to be dedicated to the Town of West Bloomfield. The project is located at Olmstead Road, West Bloomfield, NY.

Seneca County – The Town Board of the Town of Seneca Falls, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Empire Biofuels, LLC Ethanol Plant may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves Rezoning of a 165–acre parcel from A–1 Agricultural District to M–1 Industrial District and special use permit approval by the Zoning Board of Appeals for a production facility that will convert yellow dent corn by fermentation annually to 50–million gallons of fuel ethanol, 168,000 tons of distiller‘s grain and 121,000 tons of carbon dioxide. The project is located at 1911 Auburn Road (Route 5/20) northeast of the Village of Seneca Falls in the Town of Seneca Falls, County of Seneca adjacent to the Cayuga and Seneca Canal.
