On a parcel containing three
single family dwellings, the applicant proposes to remove one structure then
expand and connect the remaining two structures in the following manner: demolish an existing two story
single family dwelling and associated walkways; remove an existing paddle ball court; remove two existing
sanitary systems; remove an existing driveway; reconstruct an existing driveway; remove various walkways;
reconstruct an existing single family dwelling; expand the first story; add a second story; reconstruct
and
expand the second dwelling; connecting adjacent dwellings; construct a pool and associated deck; and
install a new septic system. The parcel is located on Ogden Pond, which is considered NYSDEC regulated
tidal wetlands. The structure is proposed within 21 feet of the tidal wetland boundary and the
septic system
is proposed within 88 feet of the tidal wetland boundary. A variance from the required 75 foot tidal
wetland
setback has been requested for the structure and a variance from the required 100 foot tidal wetland
setback has been requested for the septic system. The project is located at 30 Beach Lane, Quogue, Town
of
