Applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling with decking, septic system surrounded by a retaining wall, driveway and outdoor shower on a parcel which is partially within the adjacent area of FWW System GE-2. As proposed, the house and septic system will be at least 68 feet and 107 feet, respectively, from the wetland boundary. The site is located on the west side of Bay View Avenue, approximately 1700 feet north of Lazy Point Road in Napeague. SCTM # 0300-106-1-5.1.

The applicant proposes to subdivide a 83, 871 square foot parcel into two residential lots of 43, 870 and 40,001 square feet each.  A single family dwelling exists on the property, and a new dwelling and sanitary system are proposed on the smaller lot.  The proposed project is located within the NYSDEC Tidal Wetland adjacent area along the Peconic Bay in Aquebogue in the Town of Riverhead in Suffolk County, SCTM# 600-113-03-04.

On a parcel containing three single family dwellings, the applicant proposes to remove one structure then expand and connect the remaining two structures in the following manner: demolish an existing two story single family dwelling and associated walkways; remove an existing paddle ball court; remove two existing sanitary systems; remove an existing driveway; reconstruct an existing driveway; remove various walkways; reconstruct an existing single family dwelling; expand the first story; add a second story; reconstruct and expand the second dwelling; connecting adjacent dwellings; construct a pool and associated deck; and install a new septic system.  The parcel is located on Ogden Pond, which is considered NYSDEC regulated tidal wetlands.  The structure is proposed within 21 feet of the tidal wetland boundary and the septic system is proposed within 88 feet of the tidal wetland boundary. A variance from the required 75 foot tidal wetland setback has been requested for the structure and a variance from the required 100 foot tidal wetland setback has been requested for the septic system.
