Albany County - The Town of Colonie Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Husky, 584 Broadway will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves development of 3.15 acres of land for office / warehouse / distribution. The project is located at 584 Broadway in the Town of Colonie.

Albany County - The Town of Guilderland Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Northeastern Industrial Park, Master Plan and Zoning Amendment. A public hearing on the Draft Generic EIS will be held on September 6, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Guilderland Town Hall, US Route 20, Guilderland. Written comments on the Draft GEIS will be accepted until September 16, 2005. The action involves completion of a Master Plan for Northeastern Industrial Park and amendment to the existing Industrial zoning district or amendment to the existing zoning ordinance. The Master Plan proposes approximately 1.6 million square feet (SF) of industrial use, 160,000 SF office use and 190,000 SF research and development use with related amenities such as parking, site circulation and landscaping in addition to the existing development at the site. The Master Plan also proposes a truck stop consisting of a 16 unit motel, convenience store, diner, fuel station, restrooms and showers and 30 tractor trailer spaces with hook-ups. The project is located on NYS Route 146 and County Route 201, Guilderland, Albany County.
