New York City County - The NYC Board of Standards and Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 377 Greenwich Street will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a zoning variance request pursuant to section § 72-21 for the construction of a seven-story, plus penthouse, transient hotel, located in a C6-2A/TMU(A-1) zoning district, which does not comply with the zoning requirements for floor area ratio, maximum base height and setback requirements. The site is located within a New York City Historic District (Tribeca West Historic District). On November 29, 2004, the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission issued an amended Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) for the proposed project. The project is located at 377 Greenwich Street, Manhattan (Block 187, Lot 16).
