The applicant proposes to stabilize approximately 300 feet eroded streambank of Middle Brook using heavy stone rip rap to protect agricultural land from further erosion.  The project is located approximately 1000 feet upstream from the County Route 9 Bridge at Butts Corner.

The applicant proposes to conduct a maintenance dredging project on the northern portion of Tarigo Lake which is within the Little Red Kill,  and stabilization of a spring house in the same area of the lake.  Approximately 11,500 to 17,300 cubic yards of material will be dredged  and the spring house area will be stabilized using heavy stone rip rap.  The project is located on Little Red Kill Road approximately 3/4 of a mile from Main Street.

The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application to re-issue/re-new  the following pre-existing EPA minor Private/Commercial/Institutional State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (P/C/I SPDES) permit.  DEC has made a tentative determination to re-issue/re-new this pre-existing permit for a five year term maintaining current effluent limitations and monitoring and reporting requirements.  This permit involves the surface discharge through a sand filter of up to 600 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to the Laurel Creek.

    Additional information on this permit may be requested from or inspected at the NYSDEC Central Office in Albany.  Substantive comments must be submitted in writing to the contact person.  To be called substantive, 6 NYCRR Part 621.7 requires public comments "explain the basis of opposition and explain specific grounds..." for opposition.

Applicant is requesting that its existing permit be modified to allow for the processing of an additional 10,000 tires per day (it is currently permitted for 25,000 tires per day) and the staging of an additional 10 storage trailers (bringing the total to 40 trailers) at its tire recycling facility located at Deyo Warehouse Corp., NYS Route 9W South, Town of Catskill, Greene County, N. Y.  Maximum throughput shall not exceed 35,000 tires per day.

The applicant proposes to construct a 10 lot residential subdivision on approximately 3.7 acres of a 5.15 acres parcel of land.  The project involves the construction of approximately 800 feet of road, installation of waterlines, sanitary and storm sewers, and will have unavoidable impacts to approximately 0.18 acres of federal wetland and 72 linear feet of an unammed tributary to the Lisha Kill.  To compensate for wetland impacts, an in-lieu-fee will be made in the form of a donation to an approved not-for -profit agency.  The proposed subdivision will be located at 347 Ferris Rd, in the Town of Niskayuna, Schenectady County.
