Schenectady County - The Town Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 1335 Balltown Road - Niskayuna Community Daycare Center will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the reuse of a portion of the building for two day care centers at 1335 Balltown Road. The application calls for the increase in the number of children from 120 (the original special use permit) to 150 and 20 employees.

Rensselaer County - The Town Board of the Town of Brunswick, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Highland Creek Planned Development District may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a 206 lot residential subdivision, consisting of 74 traditional single family homes, 20 manor homes, and 112 carriage homes, located on 210.13 acres of land, including common open space which will be owned by a homeowners association. The project is located on the northeast side of McChesney Avenue Extension, south of its intersection with McChesney Avenue.
