Negative Declaration

Cattaraugus County - The Common Council of the City of Salamanca, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of local laws amending the City of Salamanca Zoning Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of a local law amending the City of Salamanca Zoning Law. The proposed amendments to the zoning law are largely technical in nature.

Chautauqua County - The Town of Carroll, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Frewsburg Water District Extension will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the extension of the Frewsburg Water District. The project also includes the construction of watermain including hydrants, valves and related appurtenances along portions of Warren Road, Riverside Road and Frew Run Road.

Wyoming County - The Town of Covington, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amending the Preliminary Zoning Schedule of the Town of Covington Zoning Law and the adoption of Land Separation and Land Subdivision local laws for the Town of Covington will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. A public hearing was held on June 7, 2005 at the Town of Covington Town Office in Pavilion, NY. The action involves the amendment to the Preliminary Zoning Schedule which will decrease the minimum lot size area from two (2) acres to one (1) acre in (A) agricultural and (R-R) rural residential districts for single family dwellings. The Land Separation Law will regulate the division of land into individual lots, when such divisions of land fail to meet the threshold for review as a subdivision. The Land Subdivision Law will regulate the subdivision of land within the Town of Covington to ensure the orderly, efficient and economical development of land.
