Onondaga County, New York

Notice of Issuance of a Draft Request for Proposals Pursuant to Section 120-w

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 120-w of the New York State General Municipal Law, notice is hereby given that Onondaga County, NY is making available on or about June 22, 2005 for public review and comment, a Draft Request for Proposals for Long Term Biosolids Management Services. A copy of the Draft Request for Proposals will be on file with the County Clerk. Copies of the Draft Request for Proposals may be obtained by contacting: Donald F. Negative Declaration

Cayuga County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cayuga Crushed Stone, Inc. - Reeves Mine, DEC Mined Land Reclamation Permit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The applicant proposes to mine unconsolidated sand and gravel from a 4.06 acre life-of-mine facility on a 24.27 acre parcel owned by Coral and Edward Reeves, located on the east side of Creek Road, approximately 600 feet south of Center Road and about 2 miles southwest of the Village of Genoa, located in the Town of Genoa in the County of Cayuga. The mine will be reclaimed to a vegetated meadow. Material will be either produced as bankrun or processed through a dry screen and/or crusher located within the excavation area. The application, mining and reclamation plans are available for review in the Syracuse Office.

Chenango County - The Town of Preston, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed salvage yard application Golden's LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves renewal of license approval for salvage yard in business for many years. New application seeks expansion of existing salvage yard to adjacent property owned by current operator. The project is located in the Town of Preston.

Chenango County - The Town of Preston, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Salvage Yard Application for D and G's will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves renewal of license approval for Salvage Yard in business for many years. The project is located in the Town of Preston.

Negative Declaration And Public Hearing

Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Dickinson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of the Town of Dickinson Comprehensive Plan Update will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. A public hearing will be held on July 11, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at the Dickinson Town Hall, 531 Old 842 Front Street, Binghamton, NY. The action involves the adoption of an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan ("the Update") which includes goals and objectives for the orderly growth of the Town. Included in the Update are demographic statistics, past and present land uses, public opinion surveys, and recommendations for the Town to use and/or adopt in order to reach the aforementioned goals and objectives. The project is located within the Town of Dickinson.

Positive Declaration And Public Scoping

Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Triangle, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed application for Junkyard License by Dale Wells and Patricia Wells may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted by the lead agency up to and including August 4, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. A public scoping session will be held on August 4, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at the Triangle Town Hall, 2612 Liberty Street, Whitney Point, NY. The action involves consideration by the Town Board of the Town of Triangle of the application by Dale Wells and Patricia Wells, pursuant to Section 136 of the General Municipal Law, for a license to operate a junkyard. The project is located at 62 Travis Road in the Town of Triangle.
