The applicant proposes to mine unconsolidated sand and gravel from a 4.06 acre life-of-mine facility on a 24.27 acre parcel owned by Coral and Edward Reeves, located on the east side of Creek Road, approximately 600 feet south of Center Road and about 2 miles southwest of the Village of Genoa, located in the Town of Genoa in the County of Cayuga. The mine will be reclaimed to a vegetated meadow. Material will be either produced as bankrun or processed through a dry screen and/or crusher located within the excavation area. No air permit or registration is required for this process. The application, mining and reclamation plans are available for review in the Syracuse Office. |
