Project Description: The applicants are requesting authorization to install an Eljen design on-site wastewater treatment system within 100 feet of a jurisdictional wetland. The proposed new wastewater treatment system will be located approximately 79 feet from the wetland edge and 100 feet from the mean high water mark of Sacandaga Lake Outlet. The new on-site wastewater treatment system is designed to serve a proposed two-bedroom single family dwelling, which will be located more than 75 feet from the mean high water mark and nearby wetlands.

Project Description: The project is the subdivision of 206 acres into four lots thereby creating a 185 acre lot with an existing single family dwelling to be retained by the applicants, a 20.06 acre lot to be sold for the construction of one new single family dwelling with on-site water supply and wastewater treatment systems and two non-building lots (0.61 & 0.69 acres) to be conveyed to adjoining landowners.

Clinton County - The Town of Beekmantown, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Route 9/Spellman Road Water District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the formation of a water district and installation of 9300 linear feet of 12" watermain and appurtenances. The project is located on Route 9 and Spellman Road in the Town of Beekmantown, NY.

Saratoga County - The State University Construction Fund, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed SUCF Proj 40005, Rehabilitate 28 Union Avenue, SUNY Empire State College will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves complete renovation of an existing 3 story administrative office building. A very small entry addition will be added; otherwise the renovation will avoid change to the building and site. A 9-car asphalt parking lot will replace an existing gravel parking lot. The project is located at SUNY Empire College, 28 Union Avenue, Saratoga Springs NY.

Saratoga County - The Planning Board of the Town of Wilton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Reapproval of a subdivision known as Huckleberry Finn Estates will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves reapproval of 26 lots in a subdivision originally approved in the early 1970's. The lots were reconfigured to meet all current zoning code requirements with a net increase of 2 lots over the original design. The project is located on Tom Sawyer Drive/Huckleberry Finn Court in the Town of Wilton, NY.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Final EIS

Hamilton County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed water supply improvements for Raquette Lake Water District # 1 (also known as Town of Long Lake Water District # 1 (Raquette Lake)). The action involves the installation of two new wells and a control/treatment building. The new groundwater source will enable the Water District to replace an existing, unfiltered surface water source (reservoir) that does not comply with current safe drinking water standards administered by the New York State Department of Health. Also, replacement of approximately 2500 feet of undersized water lines in the settlement of Raquette Lake. The new wells, the control/treatment building, and buried electrical cable will occupy state Forest Preserve land (Moose River Plains Wild Forest). As a result, the project also includes a proposal to reclassify less than one acre of land from Wild Forest to State Administrative. The project is located on Sagamore Road and in the settlement of Raquette Lake, Town of Long Lake, Hamilton County.
