excavate a section of emergent marsh 60' long x 20' wide x 1'
deep at his property in Buck Bay, Grindstone Island, St. Lawrence River, in regulated
freshwater wetland G-6, a 16 acre Class I wetland. The project purpose is to eliminate
establishing Phragmites and Purple Loosestrife and improve wetland water circulation to
reestablish native aqutic plants.

The applicant proposes to
add 32.0 acres to an existing 37.0 acre consolidated limeston
mine, for a new life of mine of 69 acres. The site is located on an 83.1 acre parcel owned
by the applicant, south of State Route 177, east of County Route 155 (Toad Hollow
Road), and 2,000' west of Rodman. The floor of the mine would also be deepened by
approximately 40' over the life of the mine, anticipated to be between 20 and 30 years,
depending on market conditions. Reclamation would include a 52 acre pond, terraced
perieter and small areas of open space. Mining would follow current operational
procedures, including periodic blasting.

place a total of 425' of rip rap embankment protection along
four locations adjacent to Highley Flow in the Raquette River off Cottage Hill Road,
approximately two miles south of the Village of Colton and southeasterly of Green Point.
An additional 100' would be placed along a pond outletting to Highley Flow. The
purpose of the project is to prevent further bank erosion and protect the highway
shoulder.
