Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Mendon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Town of Mendon Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Mendon Town Board proposing to adopt a Comprehensive Plan pursuant to NYS Town Law Section 272-a and NYS Village Law Section 7-722. The Comprehensive Plan includes an inventory of existing conditions, a set of policies and recommended actions to guide future land use development and community services; future land use plan maps; recommendations for infrastructure improvements, and procedures for maintaining and updating the Plan.

Monore County - The Town of Mendon Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hamlet of Mendon Sanitary Sewer Special Improvement District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a sewer collection system, pump station and construction of a force main from the Core Area of the Hamlet of Mendon to the Town of Victor Central Sewer Interceptor.

The action includes the establishment of a Sanitary Sewer Special Improvement District as well as the associated proposed improvements. The project is located in the Hamlet of Mendon, located within the Town of Mendon, Monroe County at the intersection of NYS Route 64 with NYS Route 251. The proposed district includes seventy-five properties in the vicinity of the intersection and which are generally recognized as comprising the Hamlet Core Area. The individual parcels, proposed boundary and proposed alignment of laterals, mains and other improvements are described in detail in the Map Plan and Report on file with the Mendon Town Clerk.

Seneca County - The Town of Seneca Falls ZBA, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Special Use Permit for the development of an Industrial Resource Park will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of an Industrial Resource Park on NYS Route 414 in the Town of Seneca Falls and the issuance of a Special Use Permit for the construction of a landfill gas recovery facility. The project is located in the Town of Seneca Falls, NYS Route 414.
