Project Description: The action involves road rehabilitation along Powell Road (South Creek Lake Road) identified in the Aldrich Pond Wild Forest Unit Management Plan which was completed February 1995. The project area is approximately two acres and will require the cutting of 276 trees with a three inch or greater diameter at breast height. This notice is in compliance with the policy LF-91-2, Cutting, Removal or Destruction of Trees on Forest Preserve Lands. No rare, threatened or endangered plants have been identified on the project site.
