Project Description:
The applicant proposes to install a 435 gallon per minute well system for the purpose of non-contact cooling water in an air conditioning system.  The water will be recharged into the ground with three diffusion wells within 700 feet of the supply well system.  The project is located near the administration building  in the approximate center of the C.W. Post Campus of LIU in the Hamlet of Brookville, Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County.

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
