Dutchess County - The Town of Red Hook Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bard College Soccer Fields Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the applicant proposing to reconstruct an existing soccer field and construct a new soccer field on an adjacent construction site. Each soccer field will be 450 feet by 300 feet in size and both will be surfaced in natural grass. The reconstructed soccer field will be lit with six (6) 70-foot high stadium light poles. Each light pole will carry eight (8) Light Structure Green fixtures, which will be fully shielded and will use reflector optics to reduce light spill and glare and to direct light to the playing field. The average lighting level of the field would be 50 footcandles. The project is located on Annandale Road, Town of Red Hook, Dutchess County NY.
