Negative Declaration

Orleans County - The Town of Shelby, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Shelby Water District No. 8 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the extension of public water along portions of Blair, Ryan, Hellert, West Shelby, and Dunlop Roads. Residents in these areas are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. Approximately 22,600 linear feet of watermain will be installed. The Village of Medina will serve as the source of supply for the proposed water district. The project is located on portions of Blair, Ryan, Hellert, West Shelby, and Dunlop Roads, Town of Shelby, NY.

Seneca County - The Town of Seneca Falls, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Zoning Law Amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the amendment of Section 103-16.D of the Town of Seneca Falls Zoning Law to add landfill gas recovery facility as a use which requires a special use permit. The project is located in the Town of Seneca Falls M-1 Industrial Districts.

Wayne County - The Town of Marion, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Marion Northwest Quadrant Water District Phase III will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the extension of public water along portions of Hall Center Road, Gildersleeve Road, Smith Hill Road, and Pigeon Hill Road. A total of approximately 27,500 feet of watermain will be installed. In addition to the watermain, the project includes hydrants, valves, connections, road crossings, manholes, excavation and bedding materials, and surface restoration. Residents in these areas are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located on portions of Hall Center Road, Gildersleeve Road, Smith Hill Road, and Pigeon Hill Road, Town of Marion, NY.
