As part of its annual right-of-way
maintenance program, the applicant is proposing to
apply registered herbicides, through both foliar and cut stump applications, on regulated
freshwater wetlands along the Moses-Willis-Plattsburgh electric transmission line in St.
Lawrence, Franklin and Clinton Counties. The herbicides are Accord Concentrate
(glycophosphate) and Arsenal (imazapyr) and will be mixed at a rate of 3.75% Accord
and 0.5% Arsenal for low volume foliar application; and 40% Accord and 3% Arsenal for
cut stump application.
