Erie County - The Erie County Department of Public Works, as lead agency, in cooperation with the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens Society, has determined that the proposed Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens Master Plan Implementation may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the phased implementation of the Master Plan. Up to ten phases will be implemented and will include the rehabilitation and/or reconstruction of the Botanical Gardens buildings and grounds, construction of new buildings including growing houses, exhibit space and facilities (library, café, classrooms, bathrooms, coat room, and administrative offices), installation of new exhibits, construction of new parking areas, new plantings and landscaping and infrastructure upgrades. The project is located at 2655 South Park Avenue at McKinley Parkway, Buffalo, New York.

Erie County - The Hamburg Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Burke Business Park may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on May 2, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hamburg Town Hall. The action involves the rezoning of approximately 28 acres of land from C-1, local retail business district to C-2, general commercial district, and the subsequent development of a business park, including roads, utilities and other site improvements. The project is located in the Town of Hamburg, NY.
