The applicant requests modifications
of a permit issued in 2002 to fill 5.35 acres of
Freshwater Wetlands CO-1, CO2, WD-26 & WD-27 in conjunction with construction of
the new Stewart Airport Access Road. These proposed modifications include a reduction
of wetland fill by approximately 3/4 acre (by eliminating wetland fill west of Drury Lane)
and re-configuration of an 11.3 acre wetland mitigation project on Barron Road within
Stewart State Forest land to avoid a protected plant species of special concern in NYS
State, purple milkweed. The access road location extends east from Drury Lane
approximately one mile south of I-84. A revised detailed Stormwater Pollution
Prevention Plan has been prepared.

approximately one mile north of the intersection with NYS Route 52.
