replace floating docks, and remove an existing 4 foot by 70 foot brush and tire jetty and

The applicant proposes to
remove and replace, in-place, 765 linear feet of bulkhead.
Dredge a maximum distance of 15 ft. seaward of the bulkhead, including the entrance to
the inlet, to a depth of 4 ft. below mean low water. Resultant 160 cubic yards of dredged
material to be placed in Spoil Site No. 1 located on the beach on the south side of the
inlet. Establish a 60 ft. x 65 ft. deposition basin on the south side of an existing jetty by
removing 1150 cubic yards of material to a depth of 7.5 ft. below mean low water.
Resultant 130 cubic yards of the dredged material will be placed in Spoil Site No. 2 north
of the existing inlet and used to renourish the beach and 1020 cubic yards will be used as
backfill landward of the bulkhead. The property is located at 5250 Vanston Road,
Cutchogue, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk on Cutchogue Harbor.
