The applicant proposes to apply the granular aquatic herbicide Aquathol Super K (active ingredient: dipotassium salt of endothall - 63%) to three selected shoreline areas of Glen Lake, totalling up to approximately 50 acres, to control Eurasian watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum), Illinois Pondweed (Potamogeton Illinoensis) and Clasping-leaf Pondweed (Potamogeton perfoliatus). The application areas include portions of regulated Freshwater Wetlands GF-21 (Class II) and GF-15 (Class I). This proposal is consistent with the Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement On Aquatic Vegetation Control Program of the Department of Environmental Conservation and its Findings. Glen Lake is an approximately 320 acre lake located on Glen Lake Road, east of State Route 9.
