ENB Region 4 Completed Applications 03/30/2005

Installation of approximately 600 linear feet of water main and appurtenances along U.S. Rt 9W, to provide water to service the proposed Extension No. 1 to the Consolidated Water District of the Town of Coxsackie, Greene County.  The primary justification of the proposal is to serve the proposed Kalkberg Commerce Park, located along Rt. 9W, south of the NYS Thruway.  The project will involve the taking of water up to 75,000 gpd of future use from the Village of Coxsackie Water Supply, with an estimated 7,500 gpd within the first year.

The formation of New Water District No. 3, Town of New Baltimore, Greene County, to serve Kalkberg Commerce Park, located at the Town of Coxsackie/New Baltimore line, south of NYS Thruway, using an extension of the existing water main as a source of water supply.  The project will involve the installation of approximately 600 linear feet of water main and appurtenances along US Rt 9W.  The project will take approximately 75,000 gpd of water for future use from the Village of Coxsackie water supply, with an estimated 7,500 gpd of usage within the first year.

The applicant proposes to grade and stabilize a 200 foot section of the bank of the Hudson River, to correct an erosion situation.  The project is located on River Road in Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County.
